I have been going back and forth for quite a while on what I would like to do with my Yukon. I have had aftermarket stereos in all of my cars so this stock crap isn't cutting it. I can't believe how bad the factory equipment is.
I plan on switching most of my system from my mustang into this yukon which includes the following;
2 sets of JL 6.5 components
Aftermarket single din (may buy a new one)
1 JL 10w6
1 JBL 700.1 amp for the sub
1 JBL 1004 amp for speakers
Here is my main question. Is it difficult to fit two 6.5's in the front doors? I know the bottom speaker is a 6.5, I assume that it wouldn't be difficult for the top hole to be trimmed to fit another 6.5.
I would add a pair of coaxles in the back doors and put the 10 in the trunk. I am also thinking about picking up two additional 10w6's that are for sale locally and building a box to fit three back there.
Thoughts, opinions?
Thanks!
