03 Tahoe Z71

Just got my Z71 two days ago!

I was trying to find what all exactly comes with the Z71 package in 03? I know some of the cosmetic things, but what about lockers, off road goodies....etc....?

Something kinda funny also, I can't find out how to fold the back seats down? I've read the manual and tried to google it but found nothing? I can get the seat bottoms to fold up but can't get the back of the seats to fold down?

Looks good. Congrats on the new vehicle.

Pretty much all of them are different, you will just have to figure out what you have. I'm sure some Z71 guys can chime in and give some info what you have. There was a site you could plug you VIN into and it would give a breakdown, but they are done for it seems.

As far as the seats

should give some insite into bench seats. Looks like there is a handle maybe in the middle?
If you have buckets, there is a handle on the outside of seat closest to the door way at the bottom you pull to get it to fold.

contrats on your Z71.. i love mine. i have the 04.

Z71 package is pretty much the appearance and skid plate package, has the fender flares, with body mouldings with nerf bars.

and yes, if its the rear buckets, there is a lever on the outside of the seat, you lift it up and the top folds down. looks like the recline lever on your standard vehicle

If you have the rear bench, once you flip the seats up, the backs should release down. You might have to move the front seatbacks up in order for the seat to move enough to make the seatbacks release.

nice truck bro ,, u got to look @ ur codes in the glove box ,, u will be looking for a g80 in the codes ,, that means u got the factory locker in the rear ,, there ok ,, but if u going to offroad like i love to do in my z71 put e lockers front and rear with push button
