What should I do? I need to order replacements for my mechanic to install.

Should I bother with the air ride or is the equivalent?

I'm going through the same thing on my '03. My conclusion? If you're going to keep it and it's not under warranty, ditch the OEM shocks. Go to Arnott on FL or buy your own Z71 springs, Bilstein 5100s and shock bypass modules. That's based on the assumption that you're not going to be towing/hauling much. If you are, get a good air shock and a compressor that you can operate from the cabin. If you don't want to do all of this, just get ready to spend thousands on OEM shocks, compressors, sensors, etc. The autoride is an absolutely pathetic system.
