OK so basically NOBODY wants to buy the stock hood just ask me about the HD hood huh?

The 2 HD hoods are the same but the cheaper one has been certifed as an official OE replacement and is on sale at $176. The non certified one is more expensive...Go figure.
Anyway I got the cheaper one and it's awesome. heavy gauge steel and primered.

The only issue was it was delivered slightly damaged so I had to get it repaired before it could be painted.
I complained to partstrain.com and they refunded me $100

Someone is telling me that the 03 HD hood will not fit my 00 Tahoe, but I can't tell the difference in your 04 and my 00 as far as the body style goes? They say I have to get the 01-02 Hd hood, not 03 and up? I still don't know which hood to get? Is it the 2500 or 1500 HD hood or do you have the part number?
