i put eibach 2" lowering springs in the rear and I didn't realize I had the self leveling shocks. Now I want to replace the rear shocks, but I fear it might lower the tahoe too much. I'm trying to get the level look. what do you all recommend. thanks in advance.

all you need is rear shock extenders and shorten autoride links and back will come down.

I believe one of my rear shocks is locked up and I don't want to spend over $300 to replace each one. I want to replace them with quality shocks, but I don't want it to look like the front is higher than the back. What shocks to you recommend for a NICE ride

I don't have the elec. shocks. do you have to put shorter sway bar links with the 2" rear drop?

David, I used a Mcgaughys 2-3 kit on mine 2wd Yukon and I also have the self leveling shocks. The kit came with shock extenders and I got the full drop in the rear. I have since replaced the factory Delco nivomat shocks with KYB nivomats ( quite a big cost savings for a quality shock) that I got online as I still tow a boat and a travel trailer with my Yukon. If youre going to tow or haul anything heavy, you may want to keep those style shocks as they work quite well. Mike.

i just replaced the nivomats with the bilstein hd shocks and the back "looks" like it sits slightly lower than the front. I have eibach 2" springs in the rear. is there anything like spring spacers to raise the back up just a little? The front has been lower as much as possible with the factory adjustments to keep the alignment in check. I'm wondering how much the bilstein springs will raise the back. i'll get some fender to ground measurements later. thanks all

just drove the truck home from work and the ride felt firm but nice but..............

it sits too low in the back! I think i'm gonna try out the bilstein spring. If anyone is

intrested in my eibach 2" lowering springs, let me know.

I measured the fender height and it is 35'' ft & 35" rear.

Does anyone have measurement when converting to the bilstein shock and spring combo?

thanks for the help
