Well, I was driving around town yesterday, it was a balmy 101 here, and had my A/C cranked up to max(5) with recirculate on, and as I was driving the blower just stopped. So I turned it down to 4, and it works just fine, as do settings 1-3.
I called and asked around and I get different answers to the same question from pretty much everyone I ask, the number one thing I have been told is it's the blower motor resistor.
However, I spoke with a mechanic friend who said that's not likely as its the lower speeds that are working, and max air flow doesn't actually use the resistor, the resistor controls the lower speeds. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
