06+ climate control unit fit into 02 yukon xl?

can the 06+ climate control unit(below the stereo) fit into an 02 yukon xl using the same harness?

I 'thik' they changed in 03-06.

yes they are different. The plugs in the back are different, even though they may look the same. Well i know for a fact, the auto climate ones are, i belive the regular are also. I tried to change out a friends 01 silverado w/ a newer auto and nope, different plugs.

Completely different. You'd have to change your entire inside wiring harness and add a few extra parts (for the auto temp, etc.)....
