I'm sure this has been discussed before.

But why does my 07 Denali fuel gauge show 1/4 tank. I could shut it off start back up again and would maybe show more than 1/4.

If I park on a hill, the truck will show empty until I shut it off on level ground and start back up and will show me fuel. Wouldn't it adjust to where it should be when I was driving after leaving the hill?

Float or sending unit bad???

I moved this to it's proper section. The Tech Info section is for "Here is where you will find technical write ups on installs and how to's." Not questions.

I moved it to Engine & Drivetrain section since it's to "Discuss engine and drivetrain items from brakes, transmissions, error codes, anything in the engine bay and so on here."

I also moved it from the 00-06 section to 07+

Yea but how come like I said when parked on hill it's showing Empty. Wouldn't you think it would correct itself after driving. I literally have to turn the truck off and back in to get it to show me a fuel level
