'07, disable Autoride?

I want to disable the autoride/autolevel on our '07 Tahoe so I can use standard shocks. I've read about pulling the fuse for the autoride/autolevel system. Sounds like this works in the older body styles, but I could never get the "Service Suspension System" message to go away.

Can I wire in a resister or will this require a custom tune?
