Hi guys, I'm back. Traded out my 07 Tahoe in my sig years ago and later this week and going to pick up a new to me 07 Suburban LTZ 4x4.

My tahoe was an LT 4x4 without autoride so I'm kinda not sure about doing somethings to the newt one. I lowered my Tahoe 1" in the front with belltech adjustable struts and 2" in the rear with belltech springs, I dont recall which ones. I liked that look but want to go a bit lower this time.

I'd like to do a 2/3 drop on the Suburban 4x4. I dont' think I should go lower than that because I will be using the 3rd row pretty regularly with the kids and teenagers taking trips, school, etc... The rear is pretty well documented I think as far as springs and kits and adjustments for the autoride, but how do I go about lowering the front with the autoride. Is the autoride struts of the LTZ different than my old LT 4x4 or are is that the same and I just need to add the spacer rings to get down 2" instead of 1"?

LTZ 4x4 with autoride, what is needed to drop the front 2" and the rear 3"?

Any body with pics of a 2/3 dropped 4x4 Suburban on stock wheels is appreciated. I'll start posting pics etc after I pick up the suburban this weekend. I missed the Tahoe and the Suburban will fit the family need better so I'm looking forward to getting back into the bowtie groove.

Thanks for the advise guys. Here's the start.

Since no replies yet, I thought I would also ask, can the front stock struts on my LTZ be kept as stock if I purchase 2" drop spindles to lower the front? Is that a better method inorder to give me the 2/3 or 2/4 drop I"m looking for?

the spindles would be best if only lowering 2". I have McGaughy spindles for sale if interested in the classified section.

Ok, and that will bolt onto the stock suspension, using the stock autoride front struts? So nothing else to change or adjust? Ill look for your add is classified, but if I was right, shoot me a pm with your best price with shipping to 28658.
Thanks,

Thanks,

Yup, just swapping one for the other even works with 4wd. Nothing else to adjust, well a wheel alignment afterwards.

I'll send you PM when I find out the shipping as they are quite heavy.
