I just bought this 07 tahoe and I'm noticing little things that I need to fix. The rear bumper on the left side is sagging a bit in one spot. I can't find any damage to the rear of the tahoe, and nothing looks like it's been knocked out of alignment or unbolted and loose. I circled the area in the print. Can the bumper be heated in that area and pushed up to take the droop out and make it even all on each side.

Thanks everyone.

Just bought my 07 a few months ago with the same exact problem. Also my stepfathers 2011 yukon xl has the same thing. Seems to be a very common problem.

It's a common issue. I think it has to do with the way the bumpers are handled afet casting at the factory.

If it was me... I would try to epoxy a plastic piece to it on the back and pull it and anchor it to something underneath the truck. Sounds ghetto I know.:)

I thought about the epoxy and anchor. But can the bumper be heated and reshaped a bit? Just wondering if any body shop guys on here would know.

Also, if it's a common issue, is there a TSB about it that I could get a dealer to fix it under warranty? Thanks,

Update: a couple of bars under the bumper, twisted and adjusted and now it's good. Thanks for the feedback.
