Hey new to the forum here. I have a 07 Suburban LT 5.3L with 160K on it. I am good at getting her in for her scheduled oil changes. I just recently had her in and switched from 5W20 to the high mileage synthetic at our local chevy dealer. It has been about two weeks since I have had the service done. Today my check engine light came on and my oil pressure gage reads 40 at idle then climbs to about 85-90 as I excelerate.
Could the switch of oil be the cuase of this by picking up sluge from the pan and clogging the filter?
