Hello All,
I am hoping you all can help me out with the A/C in my 07 Tahoe LTZ. The A/C suddenly went warm on me yesterday afternoon on the ride home from work after freezing me out during the morning drive. I checked the freon with just the main, front dash A/C on and found the compressor cycling and seemingly not accepting any freon charge at all. Then I turned on the rear/AUX A/C and the compressor stayed on, showing 25 PSI on the low side; no gauges so I can't check the high side. I was able to up the charge to 35 PSI and both the front and rear A/C started blowing ICE cold again (I couldn't charge the system more than 35 PSI). The weird part is that if I turn the AUX A/C off the compressor starts to cycle again and the air blows warm. If I then turn it back on the compressor stays on and it shows between 25-30 PSI.
Any thoughts and comments are welcome, and great forum!!!

May have a clogged orifice screen?? They can give you fits. You really need to see the high side pressure to give you a better picture of whats going on.
