I have a 07' Tahoe Z71 that has a grinding noise that sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side wheel. It is noticeable from 10-35 mph but goes away when going faster, it also seems to happen on left turns as well. I replaced the brakes last summer and I also replaced the front upper control arms on both sides (needed to pass safety inspection) I am thinking it might be a wheel bearing but I would like some more input. Also, after I go past 40 for a little bit of time then slow down below 40 it doesn't return until I am stopped and then it seems to return for a couple second then disappears. Any ideas? Thanks.
edit: I got it jacked up, there is no play in the tire. So I took it off along with the brakes, when I spin the rotor it sounds like something is jingling inside the bearing, so I am assuming the bearing or the hub assembly is bad.
