TYF Newbie
New to these forums, although I have been active over at NASIOC since ~01 so I do know to search first ; )
So I ran a search for Z71 brakes and didnt find the answer to my question, so I am hoping that someone here can give me some guidance.
I am having to replace both the rotors and the pads on the other halfs z71 and of course neither she or I can find the manual so I am unsure if the z71 has different size pads and rotors than the Ls/LT/LTZ.
Now normally this shouldnt be an issue, you just go to a website, say tirerack.com or napa.com and enter in your make/model. Problem is I can't find a site that actually lists the Z71 as a Tahoe trim, its always a selection of LS, LT, or LTZ. They DO however show the Avalanche as having a Z71 trim.
So my question to you is: Is there a difference in the way the Z71 is setup that I am going to have to choose different product than the LTZ? Should I be using the Avalanche Z71 option for choosing product? Or is there some other methodology I should be using in selecting the right pads/rotor part numbers?
I appreciate all the help that you can offer!
