My dad has a 08 Chevy suburban ltz and we've had it for years. When we first bought it the 4WD system was working and then stopped after a while. Our warranty didn't cover it so we just left it alone and replaced the CV axle boots.

Now after all those years the front differential is starting to make a noise and I feel like its time to actually replace it.

My question is will a front diff from a tahoe or a Denali of the similar year fit in our suburban?

Tahoe yes, denali no as they are awd. Try to get one with the same setup you have now out of a tahoe, yukon, suburban .... meaning same gears you have in the rear on your tahoe, try to find one that's exactly the same as yours.
