just bought this baby few weeks ago and it was dirty as sh*t, wheel wells are starting to rust and the wheels are having some chrome peel and a galvanic corrosion, no drivability issues.. 'cept for axle seals leakage and rear brakes. So after fixing the seals and brakes, kinda focused now on fixing exterior appearance, more on cosmetics and stuff so here's the before and after pics of the vehicle
Before
So after major cleaning inside and out went ahead and painted the air deflector and most of the chrome and the emblem with 2k flat black paint
then sanded the wheels and took off all the corrosion and chorme peel then painted it with 2k ebony and gloss red on the lip then a 2k clear coat, and of course the grille too. removed the tahoe and LTZ decals. removed the rust off the wheel wells, sanded it then applied some bondo body filler, sanded it again.. masked the upper portion of the wheel wells and painted it with guard including the rocker panel and all 4 passenger and drivers door 6" from below
installed a vent visor and a 32" LED bar
ordered a axle back exhaust and yakima loadwarrior and will post it after installation
