As suggested, I would absolutely go with an Aftermarket setup like Stoptech, Hawk, Brembo, etc.
I used to own a Performance Shop/Store dealing with Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Lambos and other German cars... Hawk was/is a very popular brand and so is Stoptech and Brembo.
One of the things on my "Modification To Do List" is a complete brake upgrade and I will most likely go with a Stoptech setup, although I am researching a Porsche setup... maybe from a Cayenne.
The Porsche setup would be my ultimate goal. I had a Porsche setup on my R32 and it was phenomenal and that's saying something considering how awesome the stock setup is on the R32.
*I did of course switch out pads for track days.*

Also, EBC is another good brand... very popular. I would go with the EBC "Yellowstuff" Pads IF I were choosing the EBC Route.
Between the companies I listed, it really comes down to what you can afford as they are good great brands... but I would honestly recommend either the HAWK or EBC brands for regular pads.
