08 third brake light

Quick question maybe somebody out there will know. Is the factory third light considered LED or not. The reason why I ask is because i have led taillights and an aftermarket third brake light currently. I was going to put back the factory third brake light because i think that one looks alot nicer. The only thing is i dont want it to clash with the led taillights.

I'm 90% sure they're considered standard -- and that's one reason people swap 'em with the Escalade ones (since they are LED).

Its weird, their considered ASSEMBLY lights which pretty much meand when they die, they die!! So I think they're LEDs, just not good looking ones.
I have the atfermarket IPCW Bermuda Black 3rd Brake Light and its beautiful to match the LED tails, I hated it when I had the tails without the third brake light so I suggest you upgrade the 3rd brake light too!

i just bought the led third brake light from putco. I bought it in chrome which does look nice in the box but i really dont know if i m in love with the chrome led light. I cant return it either. its brand new, that is why i am looking for other options. any help would be greatly appreciated

The factory CHMSL is LED. It was on the previous gen as well.
