'09 Denali - Transmission - Feels like it's slipping.

I have an '09 Yukon Denali - Early in shifts the tranny feels weak like it's slipping. Only under light accel... When I'm ******* it it's fine. It also flairs once in a while from 1-2nd.

Any one else have this issue?

A Denali that new shouldn't slip ... I'm thinking you're experiencing the infamous 'rev spike' that these transmissions are know for.

Same here, Gary. Whatever it may be, it's annoying, at best. I have never liked this 6 speed tranny -- and our '09s were the first to get it, so who knows if the bugs were worked out yet.

If I had an 09 with the 6 speed tranny I know it would annoy the heck out of me. I like having smooth shifts I really like the shifting of the 4 speed tranny's. When they came out with the 6 speed I though they would be much better than the 4. Until driving a buddies 10' denali it felt like it misfired every single shift.
