09 tahoe battery

Hi,does anyone know if I can change the battery on my 09 tahoe or do I have to take it to the dealer???? and if so,how???? thank you..

If you don't know how to replace a battery, take it to Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. If you buy a new one from them, they will swap it out for you while you are waiting.

Only question I have is why does your battery need replacing already? If your vehicle is under warranty, the dealer should replace it for you.

I don't think you need to worry about losing all the info in your ECU/PCM when swapping out the battery on these trucks. But, if it makes you feel better, you can always buy a memory saver with alligator clips at most parts stores.
