What's up everyone. I have a 2002 Yukon that is currently stock height. I just bought a nice set of the NNBS LTZ wheels and of course it looks way to high. I got a good deal on the wheels ($850 with new tires) but that exhausted all "play" money for a while.

That being said, I have some stock rear springs from a 2005 envoy I lowered. I talked to NORCAL SS a while back and he confirmed that they should lower the rear of the Yukon appox 1.5 inches. My question , what do a need to do up front to get close to the same drop for free/cheap. I haven't messed with torsion bars at all yet. Can I just "crank" them down or do I need some buy keys for something so minimal?

Cranking the keys down will lower the front but the ride will start to suffer. Lowering keys would most likely be your cheapest option but waiting til the money is right for some drop spindles would be the best way to go

Thanks for the response. I guess my question is, how far can I go before the ride suffers? Just wanna do what little I can for now because it'll probably be a year or so before I lower it how I want to. If it's only a 1/2" that's fine.

Just try adjusting the keys to bring the front down. Get it where you want it and drive it, If you dont like how it rides then start cranking the keys back up.

I think a .5"-.75" wouldn't make it suffer that much if any really but it'll still make you need an alignment afterwards

if you can swing 30 or $40 hit up a salvage for some 2500 torsion bar keys. they are pretty much the same as 2 inch drop keys
