I've always wanted to do this...but...how do you extend all the wires? like...the wires for the AC controls....and the wires going to the back of the navigation on the bottom level?

I wanna do it so I can hook my laptop up to it and run my diagnostic programs...watching A/F Ratio, Shifting, AITs..etc...plus, It'd be a better screen for the reverse camera

..not so much for the "bling" factor..like the guys that add 12 screens in their truck...thats just fudgingly dumb!

All you do is cut the wires one at a time and add on wire. As long as you do it one by one, you shouldn't have any problems. Solder for the connections, electrical tape to wrap the new wires, and your good to go.

or heatshrink instead of tape for each individual connection and a couple of big sections for the entire loom.

Thats what I meant...

Heat shrink each connection. Then tape (or loom) the entire new wiring. Tape would be OEM so when you go to take it off, you get the sticky crap ALL OVER your hands and it's hard to take off and pisses you off every time...
