10-Spd Transmission Whine

I picked up an RST 6.2 Tahoe in March, noticed immediately that it has a whine that sound like its coming from the transmission pump. Anyone else with the 10-spd notice it? It's noticeable when the truck is idling and not moving so I know its not the planetaries making noise. I'm planning on having it looked at when I get the oil changed. My wife's 17 Escalade with the 6.2/8-spd doesn't make any noise like it.

Why wait and take a chance of more damage. Its under warranty and I would have it looked at immediately especially since you have been driving since March with the noise. Good luck and hopefully it is something simple.
