i found a 14 bolt rear complete drum to drum with rims and tires that came off a 86 chevy for 125 bucks worth it???

8 lug i know i would need a 8 lug front SAS to run the same rim

$125? worth it. If you're doing a SAS. That axle is on an old square body Chevy, so the axle mounts will be different, no ABS compatibility. It will work, but if you're going to keep your Yukon IFS in front, I'd look for a newer 14 semi-float axle you can convert to 6-lug.

Not going to work. I looked into that and the amount of fabrication required to make the 8-lug stuff fit was tremendous. The 3/4 ton hub don't just bolt on, because the cv shafts are different, the 3/4 ton cv shafts don't fit because the mounting flange at the axle is different because the axle is different. And, since the axle is different, you need to put the 3/4 ton front axle cradle in. So you can see what I'm getting at.

EDIT: guess I should read slower, first time through my brain put IFS for SAS. Solid Axle Swap? if you got the money and the time, go for it.

125 is a good price for a 14bff, but its going to take some work to swap in.

A 6 lug 14bsf is an easier swap.

yea i think im just going to save the headache and wait for a 6 lug besides i need to quit spending my tire money lol

yea sad part is i have 4 brand new 18 inch kmc revolvers sittin in my closet , and i keep finding shit i "need"
