18" Replacement Wheels Suggestions

Newer Nissan wheels (2005+) share the identical bolt pattern and hub diameter. Not that you'd ever do that...

I have a 2005 Armada that succumbed to the NH rust, but I had brand new snow tires mounted on its 18" wheels, but since I WFH I put like 2000 miles on them for an entire winter, and bought the Yukon in the spring. I remember from the Nissan forums that the bolt & hub dimensions are identical, so instead of buying new snow tires for my 20" wheels I just swapped them over, and put the 20" wheels on the Armada while it sat all winter. Swapped them back this spring.

HA, I kept my 17" wheels for that exact purpose in NH - except mine are living on a shelf in the garage...However, like you, a WFH person - I barely drive 500 miles during the winter...With a quick glance, the Yukon has an Armada look but I am sure it is because of the wheels!

I like the fact that you tried it with Nissan wheels and it worked!! It actually looks decent. Has anyone here ever tried Toyota wheels on their 6 lug trucks? I know they share the same bolt pattern, but never had a friend with one to try it out. I think the TRD line of wheels could look pretty neat on a Tahoe or yukon.

Depending on what look you are going for and your budget, there are many good OEM options. You can do 17 inch cheap ones that don't look super cool, but have rubber on them. 18 and 20 inch options are very common.

Personally, I looked for quite some time to find a wheel that I felt wasn't just what everyone else had and came across the GM accessory 18 inch wheel in the picture with my yukon in the garage. I found a set of 265/65/18 Nitto tires on FB that had 1200 miles on them for $400 and made my own set. The other 2 pics with it outside are other wheels I was trying on. 18 inch AT4 and a 20 inch RAM wheel in comparison to the factory 18 inch Denali wheels.

FB, Craigslist, and ebay are all good options to search for wheels and tires. The bolt pattern hasn't changed since 1988, so there are many options. Just know that the newer trucks have larger rotors, so I'm not sure if anything smaller than 17 inch will work from earlier years. Also, the new 6 lug RAM wheels will bolt right on too. These have a slightly different back spacing and will stick out a little farther than GM wheels do, but since you have a Z71 tahoe, the fender flares would make it look just perfect.

Unfortunately I don't have one of that angle. They were probably about 1 inch further outside than the factory wheels. But, fender flares would make it look good
