i INSTALLED AN AFTERMARKET RADIO AND NOW MY REAR DOOR SPEAKERS WONT WORK , i FOUND THE BUILT IN AMP BUT NOW WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE IT WORK WITH THE NEW RADIO.

I also need help with this, did a bit of searching but cannot find the "sticky." I just need a quick solution if there is one for now, I'm planning to re-wire all the speakers eventually.

There should have been a pink wire at your radio connector applying voltage triggers the amp relay you should be able to use the trigger wire form your aftermarket unit.

If you used a Schoshe wiring kit you need to hook the blue wire from your aftermarket (usualyl blue) to the blue wire that triggers the relay that powers your amp. That's all you need to do. Most aftermarket amp kits come with a blue power on wire as well. Be sure you don't use the dimmer wire ... those two wires were the only ones that I didn't use on my after market head unit.

on your aftermarket harness that goes from the facotry harness to the headunit, there should be a blue wire.

Hook the blue wire up to the blue wire of the head unit's harness

the blue wire is the remote turn on wire (might have a tag that says power ant.) basically it just supplys power when the vehicle is on

After you do that, the speakers should start to work
