1996 taho 4 door gas leak tank replace.

When I try to buy a new gas tank everyone shows a rear 30 gal square tank for the 2 door. My tank for the 4 door goes above the driver side rear axel. No one seems to list this tank. They show the side mount front style for the 96 k1500 a 34 gal and a 26 gal for the short bed. Will one of these fit. Or does anyone have any experience with this or idies thanks.

Call a few scrap yards. Plastic tank leaking?

Not sure that it’ll help, but the GM part number is 12470276. Dealers can search nationwide inventory, maybe there is one somewhere that still has one on the shelf.
