Whats up guys, havent posted in awhile but I need some help! Two weeks ago my compressor pretty much gutted itself but I got lucky and it didn't dump a bunch of shit into the system. Got new lines, accumulator, orifice tube, and delphi compressor. Putting it back together and I wanted to make sure that guys at the auto store got the PAG oil type right (they said PAG 46) so I double checked on two different online resources and both of them said PAG 150. I went and got PAG 150 also but kept the 46 because I double checked and their database definitely says PAG 46. Can anyone tell me for sure what to use? My sticker under the hood is missing so I couldn't just glance at it. It's a 96 tahoe with front AC only obviously since two doors are the ****. Thanks guys!!

First, the compressor should have paperwork with it that says what PAG oil to use. Secondly, how do you know that the compressor did not dump a bunch of $hit in the system? You should flush it out no matter what. The condenser and accumulator will have debris in them. And other lines will.

unknown at this time.
If you do not have a rear a/c evaporator then use 46. But if compressor packaging says otherwise verify proper vehicle application and freon type first.
