Hello! I just posted in the Introduction section about the Tahoe I'm about to buy. There are two things I need to do ASAP. One, falls under a different forum section. The second though...

The driver's seat frame is broken. It's in the LF corner at the top of the track. It looks like where the seat bottom maybe bolts to the track section? Sorry, I'm new to full size Chevys. I recently sold my '77 Cherokee wide track so we could get something in a 4 door (one toddler and a new baby on the way) to take camping, hunting and whatnot.

What I'm curious about is the interchange on the seats. Am I looking for a seat out of a '96 Tahoe only? Will a Sub and a Denali work? The leather is
pretty wiped out on the seat bottom (I think a very big dude owned this truck previously) so that needs to be replaced or covered. I love going to the local pick and pull yards so that's not an issue.

Thanks for all your help! And happy to be here!

Mine is broke the same way (ported TB and body fat partly to blame). It kills my body seating in it as the seat parts are in bad shape. Can use Burbs, Den's or trucks of any body style from minimum of 1996 to 2000 as long as the GMT400 platform(OBS).
