I have a 1997 GMC Yukon 4 Door 4WD i have a few questions on it.

1. What is the biggest tire i can fit on it without rubbing with a 3 inch suspension lift? (17 inch denali wheels)

2. Looking into getting a Rough Country 3-inch suspention lift, What do you think about the kit? easy to install? quality of the parts?

3. What tires do you guys like? i was looking at the General Grabber AT2

4. Also, what kind of spacer would i need to run?

WOW! just read the sticky on the 3 inch rough country, so that 3 inch lift is out of the question. So here is what i want, i want a bolt in kit, dont want to have to be cutting off and relocating brackets just incase i deside later to put it back to factory.

So what other 3 inch lifts are out there?

And how is Rough Country 4" or 6" lifts?

You should clear 33s fine with a 3 inch the kit, I "THINK" super lift still makes a 3 inch kit However you should go with the rough country 4 or 6 IMO once you have the 3 inch kit on you will want to go higher

I am just a little concerned though, does the Rough Country 4-6 inch lift have the same issues as the 3 inch lift?

DO NOT BUY THE 3" ROUGH COUNTRY KIT. Yes all caps, it is a bad kit with a poor design. As stated above go with the 4-6" kit, you will be happier. I run the 6" on my suburban and I am very pleased with it

if your only want 3 inches dont waste money on the lift, get a leveling kit and you will fit 33's no rub if you want you can crank the bars and stuff some 35's with a bit of shaving
