Sup guys.. My rear drive shaft suddenly fell off while driving.. I have been looking around for a new drive shaft but couldn't find any! Anyone knows where to find the drive shaft? Would the 4-door Tahoe or 98 sierra drive shaft fit my 2-Door hoe? I'm in desperate need for help :emotions122:

How's the other side of that driveshaft look? Because it looks like it just fell off the u-joint from that picture. I see no damage to it right there. And I don't see where that u-joint is broken. I broke 2 driveshafts and u-joints in my tahoe, and each time the u-joint had chunks broken off. And the end of the driveshaft was messed up. That looks to be intact.

I'd just get myself a new u-joint and put it back on

I think a 4 door drive shaft is longer than a 2 door by a few inches if I'm not mistaken. And one from a Sierra would be way longer and aluminum (unless it's a RCSB which might work, but IDK on that)

unknown at this time.
if you get used it must be from same drive and door type. but and driveline shop can fix yours up but it just looks like the end is still good. or did dragging it tear it up a little.

x2 and is the other side of the end still intact? better pictures or more of them?
so u were just :driver: and then was like :wtf2: got out of the truck looked under it and went :jawdrop:

I had this happen on a 79 chevy short wide with 12 inches of lift and 44" ground hawgs but it twisted off the front part of the shaft and man was that a ride! created a pole vault effect!

How does that happen? No damage to the drive shaft at 70mph? I had a u-joint wear out to the point where my drive shaft fell off at the flange and dragged down the road at 40mph and I had no end left to it.

Lift's and short wheel bases are nice, but they eat up u-joints like crazy (or terrible pinion angle like I had)
