right now I have an 85 k5 blazer that I have a 383 with the FIRST Tuned Port injection system.
Many new england winters and miles have started to take its toll on both the truck and the engine. I think the valve guides are leaking which in turn is fowling the plugs.
My thought has been to look for a nice 1999 Denali as its a body style I like and the last year that the 383 would bolt right up to (I believe). My ultimate goal would be turbo tor supercharger, but that would be a ways down the road.
If I can I will look for something in Texas as there is no rust and I have family there, as well as some furniture to bring back east
Anything that I should be looking out for that is particular to this model/ year?
