Hello,
I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe. My problem is that when ever I turn sharply to the left OR right, the front end pops loudly. I'm not sure what the problem is. Could it be stuck in four-wheel-drive? The truck did sit for about a year until I put a rebuilt motor in it. It did not do the popping noise when it was running good. I saw a lot of forums about clicking noises but none about popping noises when turning left or right. Also when turning left or right, when it pops it feels like something is binding up. It feels as if the truck hesitates and THEN it wants to go. My Tahoe has an 11" lift and 35" tires.
Does anyone have any ideas????
