1999 Hoe with a problem again.....

My 99 hoe is still having problems with it stumbling when i get into the gas from a stop. This past weekend i changed the fuel filter out and noticed the filter was completely clogged up. It ran fine for a couple days and then started acting up again. The weird thing is that once the motor has been running for about 20 mins, the stumbling stops and goes away. Also the engine light came on and it said that it was running lean and that there was a misfire,but once it ran for 20 mins the light went off and is running fine. The truck does idle fine right around the 500-700 rpm range when in gear and stopped. What could the problem be this time? thanks justin

a clogged pump sock or damaged injector body perhaps.

I would replace the pump next.

how about running fuel pressure tests before just replacing various parts.

True, but I bet once he does I am pretty certain the pump will be the culprit. Same thing happened in mine a few years ago.
