1999 Rear seat issue

So the other day I went to put down the seats on the 'HOE' and found myself pondering what could have went wrong, i found the line that releases the back rest on the passenger side rear seats (smaller portion) I attempted to pull the cord and wasn't able to drop the seat.

Any ideas of how i could fix this?

Pics might help in this situation. Was the cord broken? You could probably find a replacement at salvage yard.

That's different! The pulls usually break off while the seats in the down position.LOL. At least mine did. Now I use a block to keep them from latching when the seat is in the seat position.

Yeah mine has a broken braided line which im assuming releases the back when u put the lower half down.. I can't imagine id be able to get one at a yard without buying the who rear assembly cushion and all..
