1door remote 2 trucks ??

So i have a 2003 hoe and a 2002 pick up, lost the remote for the truck so i was wondering if anyone has successfully been able to program one remote that will operate two trucks ??? I would like to use the one for the tahoe if i can get it to work Assuming i program it as per the normal factory programming procedure

I did it by accident before I sold my Silverado. Was using a spare remote for my Suburban and after I programmed it to the Suburban it worked both vehicles because I hadn't erased it from the Silverado. Yes, used normal programming procedure.

only problem is if they are both sitting in your driveway you will be locking and unlocking two trucks. I thought about this since I have a Sierra, and Yukon. Some day though, I may key them the same though.
