I need someone to either give me some paint #'s or a name of the paint that came on all the 2 door sport tahoe models on the fender flares its kind of like a charcoal grey almost black. I'm gonna paint them that color.

Like this,

So my truck will end up coming out like this paint wise which doesn't look bad at all,

Yeah dude... The guy that was gonna do the paint for me said he would again, I'm 50/50 if hes gonna do it or not. If hes gonna do it hes gonna touch up the red and fix any dents, scratches, blemishes, and repaint everything else black, then put some sport badges on it and some Z71 stickers in the rear. I know some will oppose this but I don't curr I like the way it looks.

God this looks good... But I think the original Carmine red on my hoe gives it character? I'm not attached to the gold fender flares, mixed with the carmine red and I want some change.

definitely get rid of the gold. the dark bottom looks way better. you don't even have to have it an exact match to the factory color....just pick out a nice color thats close and go with that.

I agree man, I'm tired of it. If the guy comes through on the paint job I'll ask him to match it for me, hes a great painter.

Yeah I don;t even know if they named that color anything, in all the GM catalogs/media they just call it the "conventional two tone". But I am sure there has to be a paint number for it.

Just know you have the "Dark Carmine Red Metallic" with the "Light Autumnwood Metallic" two-tone.

I'd keep the Carmine and go with a black two-tone.

The clear coat on my fender flares was halfway peeled off when I bought the truck 3 weeks ago. I just sanded them down to get a good base and plan on shooting them with primer tomorrow. Luckily, my truck is black so I'm going to try out the duplicolor paint shop pro system since I already have all the materials from another project.

I can't wait to get my truck all put back together 1 week from today with the cragar soft 8's, nitto terra grapplers, and freshly painted fender flares.
