2 inch blocks

Hi guys, I bought my son a 97 Tahoe and have replaced damn near everything on it at this point....I bought new shocks for it, then remembered that it has 2 inch blocks on the rear. My question is do I need longer than stock shocks now? Thanks in advance

Yes, because they will bottom out sooner when the vehicle suspension travels upward. Maybe it should be top-out.
