$2100.

That includes parts and labor.

Yukon Denali XL has 152,000 miles. Cats wouldn't pass emissions, engine mounts were toast and the right side CV boot was gone. I thought that price was reasonable. The installer used an OEM exhaust assembly too, so its up to speck.

To be honest, I was about to try to do it myself, but didn't have an entire 2 days nor lift. Can't imagine trying to do engine mounts without a lift and jack.

Dealer in my area quoted me $1450 for the Engine mount and right side CV book fix. So I think $2100 for that and the Cats was a good deal.

Thoughts?

It could have certainly been done for less but at what cost? Our free time is precious and a professional can often do things many more times faster and efficiently than a DIY guy. In addition, if something else came up, you might be down another day while the shop only has to make two phone calls, one to get your permission to fix it, and the other to get the part delivered.

Don't regret your decision.
