I was thinking of lowering my 2002 Tahoe 2" in the rear. I was told that my truck has Premium Smooth Ride Suspension Package. I was going to get a set of Eibach 2" drop springs and call it a day, until I saw that I need to replace the rear shock. Can I drop the rear 2' without having to replace the rear shocks? Any help would be great.

belltech 2 inch springs with shock extenders. Will ride nice and shocks angle/shaft position is much better.

So I can use my stock as long as I use shock extenders? Would I be better off replacing ZW7 shock with something else and not using extenders?

Thanks, Is this quote using Belltech 2" coil kit #23323 with a set of shock extenders #6651?

I was wondering if it would OK to just use Bellteck Coil kit # 34324, that includes the extenders and 1" spacers. That way I can remove the spacer and replace the shocks later. That is if I want to lower the front. I have owned the truck 8 year but my wife drover it for the last first 6. I'm just tired of backend sticking up.

no the 23323 is the new version springs which ride worse. there was a big write up i did on this a few months ago which a member commented on and changed out the 23323.

the 34324 sits way to low.

I found that post, so what spring would I use to get the 2" drop? The 34324 kit come with 5305 spring correct? That seems to be the way to go. How low will the 34324 kit lower the back with the 1" spacer. I plan on leave the stock Nivomat shock in. I have lower all my car in the past and I want to leave room to do more later. Could I loosen the front keys a little to match the drop of the 34324 kit?

5305 will do 3.5-4.5 true drop. best to be used with spindles honestly unless you want to run another spacer to lift it up another 1 inch.

If you want to remove the autoride all you do is pull the rtd fuse.

Front belltech sp shocks
rear belltech sp shocks
rear belltech 2 inch drop springs
$425 shipped

That will lower the rear 2 inches and you start with fresh shocks all around.
