Good morning. I am ordering a 2015 Denali this afternoon. I wanted to get some opinions on 20 versus 22 inch wheels. Are there any disadvantages to 22 inch wheels? Thanks for any feedback.

The only disadvantage to the 22" wheels is everyone who sees your Denali stops and checks it out!

No brainer - only $495 extra with the Touring Package. I have them and love them. They MAKE the 2015 and news ones IMO.

Every other package the 22" wheels cost $2995 extra.

I agree the 22" look better. But once you get past the look and think about driving and comfort, the 20" are the better choice. Smoother ride (and the ride is slightly firm already even with 20"). As well you have a better variety of tires to choose from including winter tires. The 20 inch wheels come with better tires as well and won't suffer as much wheel damage from the curbs!

Thanks. I am ordering the touring package, so I think it makes sense to get the 22's. Would the 22's make the ride rougher than the 20's?

It is not that noticeable.

I can't imagine mine riding much better than it does with the 22s.

Never driven one with 20s though.

Go to discount tire and price 22" vs 20" tires. Then ask the difference in normal replacement life of 22" vs 20" tires. Make your decision from there.
