My wife was driving the truck, nothing was wrong it was driving great as usual. She pulled into the gas station to top of the tank. She put in less than 10 gallons to do so but the last 3/4 to 1 gallon she added after the gas pump 'auto stopped'. As soon as she started the truck it was experiencing a very rough idle. She drove it to a local auto shop and they pulled the P0300 code. It was the only code.

I replaced all the spark plugs because there was a warranty on them and the auto store recommended it. The distributor cap and rotor are good. The plug wires are only 2 months old. I pulled off the EGR valve and cleaned up some of the carbon.

I also tested the specs on the coil and it shows good. I even bought a new one and tested it just in case I was wrong but it test with the same resistant specs.

Not sure what else to look at since there are no accompanying codes and the problem literately started instantly.

did you find anything out about this? Funny you mention, we stopped and refilled all the way from zero gas at a gas station I really found "out there" but it was the only one around and we were in a deserted place.

I have the same code but recently replaced my engine.
