New Denali owner. I've looked around a bit in different forums and it seems to be a pretty common issue. My husband test drove the truck, said we'd take it and I jumped in it to head home.
Every bump I hit the steering wheel would need quite a bit of correction and seems to be 'extra loose' from what I am understanding this is 'bump steering'. Driving at low speeds it's a non-issue but anything about about 45mph it get's a bit unnerving. We've replaced the worn tie rod but I've heard it could be an issue of an EVO sensor causing too much steering assist when hitting bumps. Does this sound correct to anyone?
Other facts I think might be relevant:
*Steering wheel is sideways all the time. I feel like perhaps the people sold it because they couldn't figure out the issue.
*It's on 20s.
*It's been in n accident but has been checked for any relevant damage but other than an alignment we see no issues.
