Hey folks,

Long story short my body side molding on my 2001 hoe, the piece on the bottom of the door with the black then silver strip, is in dire need of replacement but I have searched high and low to find these 4 pieces and the only prices I find are outrageous for 4 pieces of plastic! over $100 each?! Can someone help me out? I can't just pull them off because I had the truck painted and the color underneath wouldn't match up.

Sounds like you have to pay for the side moldings then

You can look up a place called Nordstroms, they sell them fairly cheap

You could plastidip them. Otherwise sounds like you get to buy new ones. I would have a bigger problem with a body shop that would tape them off and paint around them vs removing and doing it right.

This might be what you're looking for. Titles has your year Tahoe, but it looks like the individual pieces are listed as variations of the Silverado. I would just see what style you want, then call the 800 number and ask someone exactly which one you need for your truck. I've gotten a few parts from LMC and called them before, and they're pretty helpful.

Mine are in need of some TLC also, but I don't want to remove them. I kinda like them on and prefer them to get hit rather than my door by other people who don't know how to park. I'm probably gonna spray mine with either Flexidip or a bedliner.
