Isn't there a filter screen inside where the OPS bolts in to? I heard it's an easy fix if you're already doing the OPS.

if there is, i did not see one. granted you cant really see where you are working. I did try and put my finger into the threads before putting the new sensor in, i didnt feel anything.

This is a 2010, but I would expect other years to be similar:

Called the dealer about the filter... they are clueless. I'm pretty sure there is one in there. Got my sensor in the mail yesterday. We'll see if that fixes my problem.

So I finally had some time to put the new sensor in. That fixed my problem! No more crazy needle.

The old one ended up breaking in half on the way out.
