I have a 2001 tahoe and while driving down the road i hear crazy wind noise coming in by the a pillar and the door. i can grab the door by the wind and hold the a pillar, squeeze the 2 together and the noise stops from the pressure.....DOES ANY1 KNOW A FIX FOR THIS????

Mine made that noise when the bug shield was put on. Had to replace windshield and the tec said that he would use double sided tape on the strip around the windshield and it would not make that wind noise. He was right . No more noise. I am sorry but that is all the info I have. I hope it helps.......Scott

I had the same, went to a junkyard with a razor blade. Cut me about 3 feet of weather stripping and then cut it to fit behind the apillar when I got home. The trick when cutting it to fit is to cut it so that you dont cut off the hard thin piece, that way you can stuff it and double up on your existing weatherstriping

try some 3/8" fuel line (it's pretty stiff) and lube it with wd40 and slide it inside your existing weatherstripping....it keeps the weatherstripping from collapsing and should help.

You can also "tweak" your doors, roll your window all the way down and grab where the air is coming in and tug on that part while holding your knee up against the door panel, this should flex your door a little bit and help with closing the gap at the top ;)

Filling in the weather strip works great, I found out that any1 else having this problem 9 out of 10 times its the door pins and bushings!! The door begins to sag to the bottom a little causing the weather strip not to seal properly...So just check yours out and see if they need replacing cheap and easy to do THANKS for all the HELP!!!!
