2001 Yukon brush guard help

I bought a brush guard off CL and didn't realize it, but no brackets...I have the tow hooks in front which are bolted with a vertical bolt from the bottom that threads into the subframe and a horizontal bolt and nut at the end of the frame tubes

I have to make my own brackets, which isn't a big deal, I am just wondering if the threads that hold the tow hooks on is strong enough, or if I should drill it out through the top and slide a larger bolt in with a nut instead.

Has anybody ever installed one, even with the stock brackets, maybe post a picture of what it looks like from underneath fully installed?? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.
