I have been wanting to paint match my grill on my Tahoe, but one of the clips is busted. So this has me thinking, if I am going to replace the grill I am going to do something custom. All of the custom grills on ebay look like hell, and I was thinking if I kept my headlights if I could put a GMC grill in with a GMC front bumper. From all of the pictures I have been looking at I think it may work. I just have a few questions for anyone that may have both a Chevrolet and a GMC.
1. Are the bottom 3/4 of the headlights the same?
2. Does the GMC have the clips down the middle of the grill like the Chevrolet or would I need to find a GMC grill support?
All of my friends have Chevrolets so I don't have anyone that I can measure up their front end and poke around a bit.
