Not sure where to start, LOL! We don't really have the money to take it to someone to fix it. We are the kind of fix it yourself kinda people, haha!

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. It has over 111,000 miles and I LOVE my Tahoe! First off neither of the rear windows will roll down. It does not alarm anymore if the kids left one of the rear doors open when I shifted into gear. The drivers heated seat will come on for a few seconds then shut off. The passenger heated seat works fine unless I try the drivers side then it will shut off both of them. Can someone give us any ideas of where to start looking for the issue?

Thank you in advance!

If the rears won't roll down from drivers seat I'd start there at the drivers controls. If they won't roll down from the back check fuses. On the other stuff unless u know how to use an amp/current/ohm meter u will be guessing

Sounds like your driver's seat heater pad is burned out/shorting. You can replace them fairly easily from what I've read online. Replacement pads go for around $100 I believe. Apparently there's a failsafe that shuts both seats down if a burnt/shorted pad is activated, that's why it will shut down the pass side as well.

There's tons of info on the internet, and on this site as well, just do a search.

The windows will not roll down from driver controls or rear control either. My husband is an electrican so he can use a amp meter etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. We will start there!
